| John Thompson: I am trying to trace a relative for a friend, the person concerned was among the aircrew of an American bomber (B17)which crashed near Stony Stratford after losing an engine whilst taking off from Poddington on the 30th of November 1943 for a raid on Soligen. We would really like to find where the aircraft crashed, but all the information we can find is that it crashed "Near Stony Stratford", can anyone help with this?

Mills was born in that house in 1875, then moved to America about 1905. I'm wondering if my family still lives there. Herbert Holland (an old distant cousin) lived there in 1981. Wondering if any family is still there -- would like to connect. |
